I do not have an issue with Immigration. My issue is the Capitalists bringing them in as cheap labour, which does two things:
1.These foreign workers are treated badly
2.the native population does lose out on jobs due to an employer more willing to pay less to a immigrant , a native born worker is more likely not to allow low pay and bad working conditions.

This is when you have the issue of Job losses among Native born. This is just one of the many crimes and issues we face from Neo liberalism.

This does unfortunately cause friction between peoples which is a huge shame, we are both being played by those who seek to exploit us. another problem I do think is an issue is that yes cities are always going to be international to varying degrees, but in this hyper global system we find ourselves in, has caused cities to no longer be cities of whatever State it is located, but rather a city in the larger Global System. This causes those who do no live in the cities to feel out of touch and disconnected with the Capitals of power.

I do not want to fall into reactionary thinking, because I think that causes the loss of clarity and it misses the big picture (ruled by emotion). But the influx of different cultures in such a short time will cause clashes and possibly a loss of culture, this is made far worse because we are living in a time where the over lording culture of Consumption is looming over us, replacing folk lore stories with Disney and so on in conjunction with the clashing of cultures is a dire situation in any land.

 

We are clearly seeing this more in the West, The West is having a identity crisis. My conclusion is that we must preserve our culture as in our Christian culture and the secular culture of our ancestors. We must safeguard it not against immigrants (Who don’t care and why should they it isn’t something they have a connection too), but the real enemy is the Neo liberal Establishment who has this hunger to consume and package real true human expression this is the war we face.

Through the roads that European Colonialism created, the neo liberal order uses those same modes to devour and destroy Real Human Culture. So where ever you live, be it England, The Amazon, Africa or the Orient. Please preserve you cultural heritage.
