Encounter of the Zero Kind.

I was hiking in the dense forests of Norway, near the border of Sweden, when I encountered something I never thought I’d see in real life. As I walked through the dense brush, I heard a rustling behind me. I turned around to see a figure emerge from the undergrowth.

At first, I thought it was a bear or some other large animal, but as the figure came into focus, I realized it was nothing I’d ever seen before. The creature stood at least 7 feet tall and had rough, gray skin, with a large nose and long, pointed ears. Its eyes were a piercing yellow, and it had razor-sharp teeth.

I stood frozen in terror as the creature stepped out of the brush and into the small clearing where I was standing. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. The creature was a troll, straight out of Norse folklore.

It stood there for a moment, sniffing the air, then let out a low growl. I was rooted to the spot, unable to move, as the troll slowly made its way toward me.

Just as I thought I was about to be attacked, the troll stopped, looked at me for a moment longer, then turned and disappeared back into the forest.

I never forgot that encounter, and it has stayed with me for years. To this day, I still have a hard time believing what I saw was real, but I know what I saw, and I’ll never forget it.
